Fall Leaves Fall

To celebrate the beginning of this fall season, we read "Let It Fall" by Maryann Cocca-Leffler. What a great book! Our craft turned into 2 different ones... First, we took real leaves, painted them with watercolors and stamped them onto paper. Second we painted a coffee filter with fall colored watercolors, dried them, cut them into a leaf shape and finished it off by hole-punching each one to hang. Check out our work:)

  1. This looks like a great activity, I will definitely have to share this with my wife. She is always looking for different activities for our kids to do. They have had tons of fun jumping into the leaves so I'm sure they wouldn't mind another leaf-based activity! We have to get as many in as we can before the leaf bagger comes out!
